Yin and Mend Series

Location: Yoga on Main

Lincolnton, NC

These restoring 90 minute workshops include a mix of Yin Yoga + Acupuncture and will be featured all year long at our very own Yoga on Main in downtown Lincolnton

Class Bio: Yin yoga invites you to slow down and turn inward as you hold passive poses for longer periods of time in order to create space for stillness. These poses are designed to nourish your joints, fascia, and all the spaces within your body and mind. In the second half of the class we will settle you into a supported and peaceful savasana where you will receive 45 minutes of rejuvenating acupuncture designed to restore balance within the mind, body, and spirit.

Dates: Friday evenings on October 18, November 8, December 6, January 24.

Our Practitioner

Lauren Aguirre, L.A.c. is the owner and operator of True Roots Acupuncture. She received her master’s diploma in Acupuncture & Oriental medicine from Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese medicine located in Sugar Grove, NC. The four year program consisted of training in both Eastern & Western medicine as well as a year of extensive hands on clinic experience. She is board certified and licensed in the state of North Carolina.

Coming from a background in Western medicine, Lauren decided to focus on healthcare that supported a holistic approach to medicine that focused on prevention of disease, rather than prognosis.
