Lauren Aguirre L.Ac.
Lauren Aguirre is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of North Carolina. She is board certified through the NCCAOM. Lauren obtained a four-year graduate level diploma in Acupuncture through Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine in Sugar Grove, NC and has been in practice for four years in Lincolnton, North Carolina.
Prior to her training in Chinese medicine, Lauren worked several years in Western medicine. Having witnessed the devastating effects of some of the commonly used pharmaceuticals, Lauren decided to switch her path from Nursing school to a more holistic approach to healing that focused on prevention of disease, rather than prognosis.
Her practice specializes in women’s health, fertility, pediatrics, cosmetic acupuncture, pain management, and emotional imbalances.
Apart from her love of Chinese Medicine, Lauren is also passionate about farming, her family, and five children who live on a family farm nestled along the South Fork river in Long Shoals,NC. Other interests include food, running, and traveling.
